About GFinDFW

We are a husband and wife team with two kiddos. Our son (3 years) and I (the mama) both have Celiac Disease. We have been gluten free since October of 2012 and have had ups and downs along the way. One of the most difficult aspects of being GF is eating out, and many tears have been shed in restaurants. That's how the idea for GFinDFW came about.

We were tired of not knowing if “gluten free friendly” meant actual knowledge and gluten free foods or that you can just order a salad (no croutons) and plain chicken. We are trying to share real information with others on the same path. Our list is by no means exhaustive at this point, but we are adding more every week. Whether you have Celiac Disease, gluten sensitivity, or are gluten free by choice, we are glad you're here! We will continue to post about all aspects of living gluten free, so stay tuned!
